Why should we let a hero such as roadhog with so much sustain still retain a stun on top of his obvious balance issues? Yet as a damage dealing hero Im so passionate (being a Mei Main) I am denied the ability that defined her character arc and made her an accesible hero. Also you note that the freeze last’s a long time, what about Ana’s Sleep Dart? Following on from Lucastrife’s comments Mei’s ability whilst punishing would still force a player to learn how remove themself from a situation of being frozen whether it being Dva’s boosters, Hanzo’s/genjis climb/dash etc. I have taught myself overtime to headshot a widow with Mei from the otherside of a map through these principles so my argument is not premised on skill but accesibility and definition for the hero. By ‘hiding’ you are risking your team losing a teamfight being a player down however you are banking by taking out a high value target like a healer that the payoff will be worth it. Hiding/camping whatever you want to call it is a legitimate tactic used in respectable FPS such as Rainbow Six Siege that teaches patience, timing and learning player movement patterns which is a large part of playing Mei that people don’t understand the skill of playing her. I don’t mind your logic however if another player cannot kill a mei in the time taken to freeze them this was a punish for their positioning and lack of awareness.
